As a player, just like during World War II, you face choices about whether or not to take action. Think of activities such as distributing resistance newspapers, helping people in hiding, transporting forged identity papers, or even participating yourself to obtain food coupons.

In this book, we take a closer look at the ten resistance fighters who play a central role in the board game and who resisted the Nazis between 1940 and 1945 – with all the consequences that entailed. What were their motivations? Did they prefer to operate alone or in groups? And what ultimately happened to them?
